Linda Woodson believes that you should take control of the things in your life instead of hoping, especially when it comes to love.  Life is a series of opportunities and chances.  Some come routinely and others only once. Being afraid to take a risk often prohibits us from reaping a great reward.  Grasping onto this concept has led to a new awakening in her music.

Linda’s journey has led her through many highs and a few lows and she likes to write and sing about all of them.  Her lyrics speak to anyone who is embracing love or struggling with it.  Her vocal sound is rich, clean and versatile, often surprising you.

Her latest EP Love Is…deals with finding the freedom to express feelings of love in many of the situations that we find ourselves in throughout our lives and not worrying about the outcome.   In the tune “Put’n Myself Out There”, she sings about just that, taking that brave first step to move a “friendly” relationship forward.  “Open Up Your Heart” is a romantic confession of love to that one special person.

Linda understands that in real life, love has it’s ups and downs, but Love is… focuses on the ups.  In this collection of original songs, she is the romantic optimist. We can hope for the best and often times, we get just that!
